Pack smart.
Lose the bulk.

Load the liner, zip it, draw the air out by hand. Takes about a minute. There is no motor, no cable and no battery to go flat.

Four steps

How the compression works

No motor, cable or app. Use the included manual pump until the compression liner draws tight.

01
Fill the linerFold a week of clothing into the detachable liner. It sits inside the main compartment, or comes out and works on its own inside a suitcase.
02
Zip it shutThe seal runs the full width. Closed properly the liner is airtight, which is also what keeps a wet swimsuit away from everything else.
03
Pump the air outFit the pump over the one-way valve and work it by hand. The air leaves, the volume drops, and the valve holds the vacuum without you doing anything else.
04
Load the packThe flattened liner drops back into the clamshell compartment. That leaves the laptop sleeve, the organiser panel and the shoe section free.

Compression removes air. It reduces the volume your clothes occupy, not their weight, so your bag will not weigh less at the check-in desk.

Construction

Four details worth the money

The parts of a travel pack that decide whether you keep using it.

The AirPack opened flat with a week of clothing packed in rolls
Detail 01

It opens flat, like a suitcase

Clamshell access means you find things without unpacking the whole bag. Mesh pockets on the lid, a padded laptop sleeve behind, and the clothing section laid out flat.

The shoe compartment at the base, open, with a pair of trainers inside
Detail 02

Shoes stay where shoes belong

A sealed side compartment takes a pair of trainers and opens from the outside. Your shoes never touch clean clothes, and you never dig through the bag to reach them.

The harness side of the AirPack, padded straps and back panel
Detail 03

Rides on your suitcase

A rear strap slides over a suitcase handle, so the weight goes on the wheels instead of your shoulders. A hidden zip pocket sits behind it for a passport.

Detail 04

One colourway. Less friction.

Black only. Matte water-resistant shell, tonal hardware and no exterior logos — a cleaner choice from checkout to the gate.

Measured — the pack

The numbers,
drawn out.

40 × 25 × 18 cm empty. The compression liner is 38 × 28 cm and the pump is 14 cm tall. The complete set weighs about 1.5 kg, of which the backpack alone is roughly 1.2 kg.

Cabin allowances differ by airline, fare and aircraft, and change without notice. Check your carrier’s current limits and measure the bag once packed. A full bag sits wider than an empty one.

The choice

Why we chose this pack

We looked at a lot of compression backpacks before settling on this one. These are the things that decided it.

  • The pump is manualBattery pumps go flat, need a charger and complicate air travel. The manual pump works without batteries, charging or an app.
  • The liner detachesUse it inside the pack, or pull it out and use it on its own in a suitcase.
  • It opens flatClamshell access means you find things without unpacking the whole bag.
  • Three pieces, one pricePack, pump and liner together. No accessory upsell at checkout.
  • Cabin-minded footprint40×25×18 cm suits common carry-on and under-seat allowances.
  • Shoes kept apartA sealed side compartment, not an afterthought pocket.
  • Honest delivery windowsWe publish where it ships from and how long it takes, before you pay.
  • Nothing to plug inNo charger, no cable, no adapter to forget at home.
If it is not right

Returns, in plain English

If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we cover it in full — replacement or refund, and the return postage is on us. Change of mind is the one case we cannot cover, so the measurements and every figure are published above before you pay.

Straight answer

No reviews yet.
Here is what we show instead.

Voyat has only just opened in Australia, so there are no customer reviews on this page. We are not going to write any, buy any or borrow anyone else’s stars. What we can do is publish, before you pay, everything a review would otherwise have to reassure you about.

  • Your card details never reach usCheckout is handled end to end by Shopify over an encrypted connection: Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and all major cards. We never see or store a card number.
  • Australian Consumer Law, in writingFaulty, damaged or misdescribed goods: replacement or refund for a major failure, return postage on us. Those rights cannot be excluded and we do not try to.
  • A named inbox, answered by a personhello@voyat.store, answered within two business days. No phone line, because a studio this size cannot staff one honestly.
  • Every figure published before you payHeight, width, depth, liner size, pump size and the weight of each piece — measured and listed above, not hidden behind “spacious”.
  • Claims we refuse to makeWe call it water-resistant, not waterproof, because there is no IP rating behind it. We say compression cuts volume, not weight. Both cost us sales and both are true.
  • The delivery window published tooWhere it ships from, how long processing takes, how long transit takes and what can make it longer — written above, before the buy button.

When the first Australian orders land and people write to us, their words will go on this page with their names on them. Until then, this is the honest version.

Before you buy

Does the pump need batteries or charging?

No. It is entirely manual, worked by hand. There is no battery, no motor and no cable. That is deliberate: it is the reason this pack ships without any of the restrictions that apply to battery-powered luggage.

Will it be accepted as carry-on?

It measures 40×25×18 cm, which suits common carry-on and under-seat allowances. But limits differ between airlines, fares and aircraft, and change without notice. Check your carrier and measure the bag once packed. We cannot promise universal acceptance and we will not pretend to.

Is it waterproof?

The outer fabric is water-resistant: it handles rain and splashes. It is not waterproof and should not be submerged. We do not claim waterproofing because there is no independent IP rating or test report supporting it.

Does compression make my luggage lighter?

No. It removes air, so it reduces volume, not weight. Your clothes weigh exactly the same. They just take up far less room.

What if it arrives faulty or damaged?

We cover it in full. Email hello@voyat.store with your order number and photos or a short video, and under the Australian Consumer Law you may choose a replacement or a refund for a major failure. We pay the return postage on a covered claim and approved refunds reach your original payment method within 5 business days.

Can I return it if I simply change my mind?

No. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted, so please check the measurements above before ordering — every figure is published for exactly that reason. Your consumer guarantees for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are untouched by this and cannot be excluded.

Where do you deliver and how long does it take?

We deliver only to Australian addresses. Processing takes 1–3 business days and transit usually takes 4–8 business days, so most orders arrive within 5–13 business days from order to delivery. Shipping is free and tracked. If tracking has not updated or your order is overdue, email hello@voyat.store with your order number.

Will I pay anything on delivery?

No. The total shown at checkout is the amount payable for your order. There is no cash-on-delivery charge.

How do I clean it?

Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron. Let the compression liner dry completely, open and unzipped, before storing it.
