Rain off the outside. Wet kit sealed on the inside.

The AirPack does two things an ordinary backpack cannot. The shell is water-resistant, so a downpour on the walk to the terminal is a non-event. And the compression liner inside is airtight — it has to be, to hold a vacuum — which means it doubles as a sealed wet bag.

A soaked swimsuit, a damp towel, a rain-drenched jacket: zip it into the liner and it cannot reach your dry clothes, your laptop or your documents. Most travel backpacks make you choose between carrying wet kit and keeping things dry. This one doesn't.

And then it compresses

The same airtight liner is what makes the pack swallow a week of clothing. Load it, close the zip, and draw the air out with the included manual pump. Soft items are mostly air — take the air out and they collapse into a fraction of the space.

No batteries. No charging. No cables to forget at home. Just a hand pump that works anywhere, at any altitude, forever.

What's in the box — a 3-piece set

  • The backpack — 40 x 25 x 18 cm, water-resistant shell, suitcase-style clamshell opening.
  • Manual vacuum pump — fully mechanical, no power source required.
  • Airtight compression bag — zippered, removable, doubles as a wet bag.

Built for the way people actually travel

  • Water-resistant outer shell that handles rain, spray and spills.
  • Airtight liner that keeps wet things in and dry things out — use it inside the pack or on its own.
  • Clamshell opening so you can see and reach everything without unpacking the whole bag.
  • Separate shoe compartment that keeps footwear away from clean clothes.
  • Padded laptop and document sleeve in the front organiser panel.
  • Rear trolley strap that slides over a suitcase handle, plus a hidden zip pocket behind it.
  • Detachable shoulder strap so it carries as a backpack or a holdall.

How the compression works

  1. Pack dry clothing into the compression liner.
  2. Close the zip completely along its full length.
  3. Fit the manual pump over the valve and pump until the fabric draws tight.
  4. Stop when the clothes feel firm — don't force the seams or the zip.

Compression reduces the volume of soft items. It does not reduce their weight.

Being precise about water

We'd rather be exact than sell you a word. The outer shell is water-resistant: it repels rain, spray and spills, and it is not designed to be submerged or left standing in water. The compression liner is airtight and watertight when the zip is fully closed — that is what lets it hold a vacuum, and what lets it carry wet kit safely away from everything else. Two different things, and now you know which is which.

About cabin baggage

Carry-on size and weight limits differ between airlines, fare types and routes, and they change without notice. The 40 x 25 x 18 cm footprint is designed to suit common carry-on and under-seat allowances, but we can't promise it will be accepted by every airline on every fare. Please check your carrier's current limits, and measure and weigh the bag once packed — a full bag sits wider than an empty one.

Care

Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron. Rinse and dry the liner completely, open and unzipped, after carrying anything wet — sealing it damp will cause odour. Keep the pump away from sand and grit.

Safety

Keep packaging and plastic bags away from children — risk of suffocation. The compression liner is not a toy and must never be placed over the head or used to enclose a person or an animal. Do not use the pump on anything other than the supplied liner.
